Our Museum

Our Museum is contained in a ex-company house on Fraser Street, next door to the public swimming pool and Visitor Info Centre.

This building was built by the Canadian National Railway as a residence in 1942. It was aquired by the Village fifty years later, and was renovated in the early 1990s into its present state.

We officially opened the Museum on July 1st, 1995.

The Museum is run entirely by volunteers, with help during the summer months from students on work programs.

Our Curator/Archivist during the formative years of the late 1990s to date has been Dorothy Dodge.
